GBA HCI Forum Pre-CHI 2024

About the Forum|关于此次活动

This forum aims to provide an opportunity for HCI researchers based in the Greater Bay Area of China to share their work which is in work-in-progress, to be published or has been published at the latest or upcoming HCI venues (such as ACM CHI, UIST, CSCW, Ubicomp, etc.). As the name of the forum indicates, we expect it to be a stage for authors-to-be in the upcoming ACM CHI Conference while inviting other researchers with publication records in HCI conferences. This event is a one-day, on-site exclusive experience without options for virtual participation, and no proceedings will be published.

As this event marks its inaugural trial, the forum is internally organized, with participants initially communicating from within the collaborative institutions in the Greater Bay Area of China. However, we anticipate our community to grow by encompassing other researchers and practitioners from outside the initial institutions, and remain to be open to refining organization of this event as we grow. 本研讨会旨在为中国大湾区的人机交互（HCI）研究者提供一个分享他们近期研究工作的平台，这些工作包括即将在ACM CHI2024 会议上发表的论文成果以及其他在HCI相关会议（如UIST、CSCW、Ubicomp等）已发表的工作。正如此次活动的名称所示，我们期望这是为即将在ACM CHI会议上发表论文的作者们提供一个舞台，同时也欢迎在HCI会议上有发表记录的其他研究者参与。我们还会组织海报展示会，为那些正在进行和尚未提交的研究工作提供展示空间。该活动为期一天，只限现场参与，没有虚拟参与选项，也不会出版论文集。
